TVLAX believes no lacrosse player should be left out due to financial hardship. For those unable to pay the full amount for a season of lacrosse, financial assistance is available to cover or reduce registration fees.
This assistance is primarily provided through THPRD. For more information click www.thprd.org/activities/familyassistance.cfm. Residents whose income falls near or below federal poverty guidelines are eligible to receive up to $300 annually in THPRD scholarships.
Use the discount code THPRD during registration. This does not apply to THPRD and USA Lacrosse fees which are required by the League.
Please mail your THPRD assistance check and a personal check for any remaining balance to:

An additional resource is KIDS in the GAME. They are a nonprofit that provides financial assistance to low income families for sports registration fees. This program has found that engagement in school/intramural sports helps increase student attendance in schools and also brings positive mentors into the lives of students. Please find additional information on their website or in this informational flyer. Contact: Amanda Conde, Program Administrator.
Also and similar to the above is Every Kid Sports.
All refund requests must be made in writing (email) to the TVLAX Board. All refunds will incur a $30 administration fee.
Our program only works through volunteers' efforts. Please volunteer! We can use your help in many different ways. Volunteer needs include, but not limited to: head coach, assistant coach, team parent, tournament coordinator, marketing, fundraising, sponsorship, grants, board member, committee member, and other miscellaneous needs.
- These roles are easy, fun and very rewarding. If you are new to a volunteer role, please job-shadow at the start of the season.
- Get involved, meet and work with fellow lacrosse parents!
